Symptoms of rheumatoid arthritis include morning stiffness, swollen, painful joints, joint destruction, nodules and flu-like symptoms, among others. Typically, affected joints are symmetrical on the body. Affected joints usually include wrists, knuckles, knees and balls of the feet, but any joint can be affected.
