At a Glance

Effective Rheumatoid Arthritis treatment consists of a combination of medication, exercise, a healthy diet and alternative, or complementary treatments to ease pain and inflammation. Depending on your condition, your doctor may prescribe disease modifying antirheumatic drugs (DMARDs), Nonsteroidal anti inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), or steroids. Supplement medication with a healthy diet and exercise like yoga.
