From Top Level Athlete to RA Depression and the beginning of the comeback trail

When I was 17 years old I joined the United States Army and found myself in basic training. I enjoyed the challenge and yes it was stressful. I thrived on being an M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank Armor crew member. I also enjoyed the physical part as well as the mental part of being on the tip of the spear. Slow it down!

Ok, I am experiencing VERY fast joint disfiguration. I am really starting to worry. it seems like every day I find a new lump starting. I have one finger that is curving out. I have done everything they have told me to do since I was diagnosed a year ago. Am I missing something here? Is the Remicade going to stop this from happening?

??? about taking enbrel and have a cold.

My husband is on Enbrel for Rheumatiod arthritis and just came down with a cold, sinus headache, and runny nose. I tried calling his Rheumy, but they are closed until Monday. Should he still inject tomorrow? He is on the 50mg pen injector once a week.

I am currently taking methotrexate.   At first, I would experience an ulcer here or there. Usually I'll get an ulcer in my mouth. Lately, its been increasing in severity. Currently I have 5 ulcers on my tongue and one on my lip. It hurts, to say the least. My tongue looks so dreadful, like its decaying. My doctor says its a common side... Read moreChevron
