Q: Recovery of RA after pregnancy

Does anyone recover fully from RA after pregnancy? I have RA on both my wrist. The mobility is better compared to pre-pregnancy. I am not on medication though doctor prescribed prednisolone and plequneil. There is no flare up since I have stopped medication for 4 months.

You are very lucky not to have a flare. If you do get active RA again then go to your Rheumatologist and start on a good set of meds. I don't like Plequnell because it can damage the eyes. I started getting RA after my first baby but it went in remission until about 20 years later. Then I had to go on meds that would help control it. If you don't the damage can be devastating. Good luck and keep happy. Bon
