Hi Jessica,   I was diagnosed with RA when I was 33 years old an am now 46.  You can do everything everyone else done as long as you don't have a flare or have been told not to by a doctor.   There were many many times when I had to use stairs on my behind and had casts on my wrists to contend with but the problem among many with people with Ra is that you appears normal on the outside so what I did was to gather pamplets about the condition and let everyone read them as people know very little about the disease.   Good luck.
