Looking for a Rheumotologist in Virginia
Hi!
You have found a great place for info and support. I do not live in VA, but I would suggest researching online for a reputable Rhuemotologist. Many have ratings from local people and also a history of comments from patients. Try googling them or look in your phone book. I also want to invite you to read a really good post on this site for people that are newly diagnosed. I know it can be a very confusing time and you can feel very alone. I hope you find a good Rhuemy and feel better soon.

I also live in Virginia, and go to MCV, to Dr. George Moxley, he is a very nice man andyou can go to the Medical College of Virginia website and get the number you might need a referral to get in the system and it did not take too long to get in to be seen. My asthma doc who is also @ MCP says he is a smart man. He will always discuss all side effects of any med he writes you. I have been to 4 different doctors at the Medical College and have yet to find one that I did not like.

<!--[endif]-->Your family doctor should be able to refer you to a rheumatologist. As well, you can check out the website for the American College of Rheumatologists for names of rheumatologists in your area.
