RA doesn't seem to affect your chances of getting and staying pregnant. And the really good news is that most women go into remission during pregnancy - before the Biologics, I once heard a rheumatologist jokingly suggest that his female patients spend most of their time pregnant, as it tends to reduce the symptoms of RA. Still, I recommend that you speak to your doctor - s/he may have more tips for staying healthy during pregnancy and what to do once the baby is born.

Good luck!

I have had ra for 30 years and I had 5 children. In my experience I felt great during all of my pregnancies and had no complications. However right after giving birth I would always have a flare which is common with this disease. I hope this was helpful.
