It's my understanding that ginseng can be beneficial for many things, including living with a chronic illness like RA. You may want to consider consulting a licensed naturopathic doctor for help with supplements and other alternative treatments and if you're interested in supplementing your regular western meds, check out my post on alternative medicine. However, it's always a good idea to check with your doctor before you add other types of treatment, as well as choosing reliable licensed practitioners - natural medicine is still medicine and can interact with the drugs you're already taking.
