With a supressed imune sx, how will my body fight this? How long til I start to get better? What can I do to help my body heal?
Q: So, now I have mono...how is this going to affect me?

I had mono two years ago, I was taking enbrel and meth and had to stop taking both. At first I only stopped the enbrel and still didn't get better so then I stopped the meth. I think if I had stopped the meth to begin with it would have only taken a month or so to get over it, but it took about two and half months. I am lucky that I don't work and was able to rest when I needed to. A lot of napping is what you will need and stay away from anyone who is sick. Good luck and hang in there you will get better it just takes time.

Thanks! Earlier this week my pcp took me off of everything. Then yesterday he said I could start the Imuran again. I thought I would wait, as he kinda left it up to me, as long as I didn't take the relafen. So, on monday I think I will call the rheumy again and get his input.( he knows I'm off the meds d/t lft's 3x normal) I'm not working right now either, so I guess I am lucky with that! Thanks for responding, I really appreciate it!
