A bone knitting back together is a natural healing process, whereas a joint fusing due to arthritis is very definitely not. I suspect that it was recommended that you skip Humira while you heal due to the possibility of infection -as is medication is an immunosuppressant, you would be more vulnerable to infection, with which would be a very bad idea to happen in the bone.
