I'm in the same boat. The cost of COBRA is killing me. I spoke with Aetna this morning. They said that RA is an AUTOMATIC DECLINE. I even offered to pay my meds out of pocket. They said it doesn't matter. My RA is very mild and my meds would cost about $60 per month. My COBRA costs me $375 per month. UGH.
