Q: Does anybody else have these symptoms with their RA?

My feet are on fire.  It feels like there is thousands of needles in my feet.  Or, an electrical current that won't shut off.

when you have a chronic illness like RA, you get used to having weird symptoms. After a while, you learn which need a doctor and which you can take care of yourself. However, part of that learning process involves checking new and unusual symptoms with your doctor. Yours definitely qualify as needing to be checked by a physician, so I would recommend you make an appointment as your doctor as soon as possible.

I dont have that in my feet, but my hands and sometimes my arms when I'm sleeping. Have you tried moving them or flexing them? Moving and flexing my hands and fingers has helped me, have to do it for a few minutes though.

RA can attack the nerve endings causing the burning.

Yes,  I have the same type of pain, also in my hands.  On bad days the feeling can slow crawl up my arms and legs also.

Yes, I have the burning in my feet. It is worse at night. I have found Benadryl gel rubed on them and then I put socks on really helps. It takes a few minutes, but all of a sudden I have no burning. It might help the ones that have this feeling in their hands and, or arms. I get it at Wal-Mart. Reply

I could not describe the pain that I felt, until I spoke to one guy, who said it felt like a sunburn. That to me, describes it perfectly. I get a sensation of hypersensitivity, along with the feeling of a sun burn, and heaviness. I've had that throughout my entire body for years.

Had the same symptons. Told my Rhumy and he said it was Fibermialgia, he put me on Lyric but the symptons just got worse along with a load of new side effects. Good Luck to you. Reply
