what does it mean when your results state the RF is <4?
Hard to say - none of the people who answer questions here are doctors and you really need to have a medical degree to interpret the results. However we do have a terrific post about lab results that may give you some general information. keep in mind that blood results should not be used as the sole diagnostic tool, rather they are used to confirm a diagnosis already made through physical examination, list of symptoms, etc.

It really is impossible to say here. Ask your Doc what he thinks. RA can only be dxd by a thorough exam, bloodwork and medical history. I have RA and am seronegative. Ask your Doc and make sure you get clear answers before you leave!
