does minocycline help cure strep throat?

Minocycline is a broad spectrum antibiotic and could therefore be prescribed for a case of strep throat. Do you have strep throat? Has your doctor prescribed this medication? If so, it's quite possible that it will make the infection go away. if you have any further questions about this medication, ask your doctor or consult your pharmacist - they're much more likely to know the ins and outs of medication then the people who answer questions here (none of us are doctors).
