I think I am "flaring"..... foot is swollen, wrist is swollen, tingling and some burning in my right foot as well. Am on low dose prednisone and plaquenil. What do you all think?? Called the Rheumie and was told to up the pred. for 5 days. What exactly CAUSES flare-ups?? I am confused; especially when I've been faithfully taking prescribed meds. Did think I was coming down w/a cold the other day, and felt outta sorts for a few days. Was this the cold or a beginning of a flare-up??? This is all so confusing, but right now my right foot feels afire! Thanks for any help.
