Hey Jeff.

I am newly diagnosed. From everything I have read, women are 3-4 times more likely to develop RA. There are quite a few guys on this site. Are you new to the site? If so, keep reading posts and questions, TONS of great info can be found here.

Hi Jeff,

My husband was just diagnosed with RA about 2 months ago, at the age of 29.

My husband was diagnosed in '96.  He's been a Methotrexate about 12 years and in remission for about 10 years.  So far it has not kept him from doing whatever he want to do.

Answer to your question is, to many. Its a terrible disease that brings a man to his knees, and he feels useless. I do know one thing, family and friends just don't get it.
