Q: Has anyone taken Panlor or is it Pamalor for pain?

I was diagnosed in May with RA. I am taking methotrexate and prednisone. Now all of a sudden the meds are not working and the pain which is in hands,knees,ankles,feet and back are again screaming at me. I go in to see my RA Doctor on Monday but was curious about Panlor or Pamalor? Has anyone taken it for pain and does it work better than prednisone? I would like to find something other than predisone. I just want some suggestions I can throw at her. She is very open and honest with me about the drugs and I would just like to know what is out there other than predisone for pain I can ask her about. Thanks

Yes, Panlor worked great for pain. I took it 11 years until this year when it was discontinued by the manufacturer. I was so sad not to be able to get it but found another pain med that is almost identical called Trezix. It doesn't make me sick like Vicodin or Hydrocodone and some of the others that didn't work at all. Trezix is for pain only so you still have to take the RA meds. I don't like Methotrexate because it made me sick. Was on it for 3 years till I got too sick and was changed too Relafen and Minocycline which worked very well. Good luck, Bon
