i have been denied disability twice. I have been fighting this battle for a year. I contacted a lawyer and he is going to handle my case. I have heard that if a lawyer takes your case they are pretty sure they will win. has anyone else out there heard the same thing. Any info would be greatly appreciated. Thanks a million Becky

Last year I applied for disability in February and was denied .  Then I got a lawyer to to fill out the papers and was denied. Then the lawyer reapplied and I was award my disability in September 2008.   I was very surprise to get it so quickly.  Believe me I pray alot. Some people told me it might take years.  Then I heard if you have RA and go to the doctor regularly it would be easier.  ALso, I had heard it depends on where you live.  I live in Kentucky.  I wish you luck, get you a lawyer and pray.  It will happen.
