Q: sun and RA meds

I know first hand you need to avoid the sun when taking sulfasalazine, how about humira??

I take Enbrel and I cannot be in the sun over 5 minutes without major sunblock or I get the ugliest nastiest itchiest hives...never had hives before so WOW!  LOL...Even hanging my arm out the window driving...big nono.  But, with lots of sunblock on (which I now carry all the time in my purse) I can stay out comfortably for an hour.  Good Luck!!
