Hello, Terry.  Does your doctor know you are having this problem?  I think it would be a good idea for you to let him know so that he can determine whether or not it is a serious enough side effect for you to discontinue one or more of your meds.

I have had the same issue from different medications at various times in my life, and I know how miserable the itching can be.  Aveno makes a bath product.  It contains oatmeal and this has a soothing effect on the skin.  I have been told by others that they just use oatmeal straight from the box, and it works as well.  I have never tried that myself, though.

When I had hives from Prilosec, the doctor prescribed a very strong steroid ointment which gave me more relief than anything.  There are also Benadryl tablets and topical products you can use to help with the itching.

Please let your doctor know what is going on.  I'm sure he/she could help you.

Best Wishes,

V
