Q: Does methotrexate cause tingling and numbness on your back?

I looked up side effects and methotrexate, but couldn't find anything like what you described. Without more details, it's difficult for me to advise you, but I would definitely suggest you speak to you rheumatologist or your family doctor about this. Depending on where your symptoms are located, when they started and whether they come and go, you may have a trapped nerve somewhere or this could be a neurological symptom which could possibly be related to your medication(again, this is just a guess and not a very educated one as that - I am not a doctor). I wouldn't worry too much, but do speak to a doctor about it.

Hi..I was on methotrexate for 8 months and never had any of those symtoms. I had vomiting and fatigue. Hope that helps.

I am on metho too, and i do have a lot of tingley sensations-i havent notticed any on my back-but i do get them off & on on different parts of my body including my head.
