Q: I take prednisone and my hair is so dried out. Got any ideas?
Its the methotrexate that is doing it. Your hair folicals are dying. I used an hot olive oil treatment every week, I got it at Sallys beauty supply store. I eventually had to stop taking it because my hair started to fall out in large clumps. I have been off of it for almost a year and my hair has finally gotten back to normal. Also talk to your dr. about folic acid that may help.
