Q: SHARP STINGING IN ARM MUSCLE

SHARP, STINGING PAIN IN MUSCLE; SOME NUMBNESS FELT. PAIN IS BETWEEN ELBOW AND WRIST.

CLOSER TO ELBOW. PERIODIC AND LASTING ONLY MOMENTARILY.

First, let me ask you if you have rheumatoid arthritis.  If you do the stinging and numbess could be from inflammation pressing on the nerves.  Now if you have severe rheumatoid arthritis it could be that you are developing nodules around your elbow or already have one that is aggravating you.  That being said, I would suggest that you mention it to your doctor because stinging and numbness can be symptoms of many other things.  You definitely owe it to yourself to get it checked out!  Good luck and best wishes!
