Well your blood tests are indeed confusing. Your RA factor and sed rate are normal, but your anti-ccp is up there. Generally the anti-ccp test helps a doctor to double check for RA when all clinical symptoms are there but you are testing negative for an RA factor. Were the tests taken before the swelling started? I ask because I am also confused about your sed rate as it measures swelling and/or infection present in the body. Heck a stubbed toe can elevate a sed rate.
Do you have a follow up appt? It sounds like one is in order to confirm or deny information. If not, give your doc a call to explain their ideas on the subject.
Did you have xrays taken?
Did you have issues before december? One of the many criteria for symptoms of RA is that the issues last upward of 2 months. Pretty much everything together helps a doctor to differentiate between RA, OA (osteo)and IA (inflammatory).
It is indeed possible that you do not have RA. But please let your doctor make that determination.
