Q: Orencia

I have been taking Orencia 1250mg for over a year now. I still have high C-reactive Protein and RA symptoms. Has anyone else taken Orencia for this amount of time and how well has it treated your RA?

You may want to try asking this question in the SharePost - they often get more traffic than the Q&A section.

I am not on Orencia, but in general, when you're a year into the treatment and you still have RA symptoms, you may need to increase the dose, supplement it with another DMARD or a small dose steroid or try another medication altogether. I'd recommend you talk to your rheumatologist about this at your next appointment.  If your RA is still active, it's important to get it suppressed to protect your joints.

Are you still on Orencia?  I have been on it for 9 months, no RA factor however C-Reactive Protein above normal at 2.07.  I still feel horrible.  How about you?
