I got a copy of my tests but do not have an appointment for 3 months . Im in such pain in my fingers , wrist and feet . Had to go to emergency room Sat eve . Had a cortizone shot and demerol . Im better today but still in pain and cant fully open my hand yet .

I am diabetic so cortizone raised blood sugar to 315 .

With my ccp reading being 227 and crp 3.2 I would assume these are out of normal range ? How high are these and can RA be dx from them .

Thank you in advace for your response .

When my RF came back 247 and my CCP came back 190 my doctor called me in STAT to start treatment that day. It is very important to start treatment early for best results and outcome.

Are you a smoker or X smoker? I read a theroy that high CCP has to do with smoke exposure even years before symptoms.

I went several years, living with joint pain and bouts of whole body inflammation until RA was diagnosed. It was finally dx because I began to have bone damage. Don't let the blood test fool you. If waiting causes damage to your bones, it is your body. You need to get that inflammation down. 30 % of people with RA are what's called sero-neg. meaning, they tests negative on the blood tests but have RA. It has to be clinically diagnosed by a good rheumatologist. It took going to several doctors over several years to find out what was wrong with me. I'm now on treatment. Agressive treatment to keep further bone damage from occuring. I hope this helps you and God Bless You!
