I work in a pharmacy, and recently had my second go round with Shingles in my back. The pharmacist said he couldn't give me the vaccine until the rash was completely gone (it took just over 2 weeks) but my rheumatologist decided against the RX due to the Humira, methotrexate and prednisone I'm on. So I'm not sure if the neuropathy would affect when you can get the vaccine. From what I understand that neuropathy can last quite some time, and in some cases actually become permanent. Speak with your doctor and your pharmacist and they will be your best line of defense in doing it when it's safest for you.
