I have taken one Remicade infusion in my life.  I had to stop these infusions due to the fact that it threw my blood counts out of wack.  That being said, Remicade cannot cure rheumatoid arthritis as RA is an incurable disease.  But, there are many people I know that have been on these infusion for a long time with great success.  The problem is that they don't work for everyone.  And for some people they only work a short while.  Now Remicade is supposed to be one of the leading medications for RA and has a pretty good reputation except for a few scary side effects that I believe happen with a great deal of the meds that are used to treat RA.  If you are currently taking these infusions and not having any relief, then I suggest you let your rheumatologist know.  You don't even have to wait until your next appointment, give his office a quick call.  He may want to give it a little more time, or he may want to go ahead and switch you to something else.  Good luck and best wishes!
