Hi all....I was wondering if any of you have problems with triggering fingers with your rheumatoid arthritis. So far its been in my right thumb and both middle fingers. I've had surg on my right thumb and next is my left middle finger. So far have done well with the first surgery :)  Does RA have anything to do with hammer toes?  Thanks!!!

Hi!

We are not medical professionals, so we can only offer personal insights. I have RA and PA. Hammer toes are usually a sign of PA. I get that and the trigger fingers as well. I had special shoes made at an orthotic doc office that help a lot with my feet. They take casts of your feet and make the shoes match your feet. I also had orthotic hand splints made to wear at night, then keep your hands in normal position and really help me. Hope this helps you and you feel better soon.
