WHAT CAN YOU DO FOR SWELLING OF YOUR ELBOWS , HANDS , AND FEET?
MY ELBOW SWELL TO THE SIZE OF A LEMON. ALSO MY FINGERS, AND FEET. I HAVE PUT ICE ON THEM BUT NOTHING WORKS. I HAVE HAD RA FOR 6 YEARS. ALSO MY HIPS I HAVE TROUBLE WALKING THE PAIN IS SO SAD.
Hello, Linda, did anyone ever respond to your question? I don't see a profile, so I don't know much about your situation. You've had RA for 6 years, how are you being treated - are you on medication? RA swelling is not like swelling from another injury. It requires medication that acts on the immune system. You should be seeing a rheumatologist regularly. And if the treatment he/she has prescribed is not working, then something else should be tried.
