I've had hypothyrodism for 22 years and RA for 3 years. I'm on Methotrexate and Folic Acid. It has done very well for me. All the medicines scare the hell out of me but there is risk in everything. It's also relatively inexpensive about $16 - $25 a month. My endocrinologist said that the RA may feel worse if the thyroid levels were off.
