Q: I have had 3 hip injection. they work but I dont like all the side effects that could happen. looking for an all nutural injection. to help cushion the hip. any suggestions. let me know
As far as I know, the lubricating shots such as Synvisc and Orthovisc that are approved for knee injections are not yet approved for shoulder or hip injections. I did know one of my ortho's patients who paid for it out of pocket for his shoulder. You might check with an orthopedic surgeon. He should be up on the latest thing. Please share what you learn, as it may help others.
