I am 47 and have been diagnoised with RA. The pain in mostly in my hands and up to my shoulders. I am a brittle diabetic, so any steroids would seriously raise my blood sugars, which aree now under control. I also have a history of infections including a bout of necrtoizing fasciitis (flesh eating bacteria). My doctors have been reluctant to put me on enbral or any of those types of medications. I use medical marijuana for the pain, but that only is temparary. What is a girl to do?
