Diclofenac is one of many NSAIDS (non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) and is used for arthritis among other things.  Spinal stenosis can be painful and debilitating.  I think someone I knew just underwent surgery for it.  It would just depend on whether it gave you relief or not ... or how bad your stenosis is.
