I found when I took the weekly pills that the side-affects were worse than when I switched to the weekly injections. It's easier on the liver as well. I took plaquenil in conjunction with it for about 5 yrs. The folic acid helps as well to alleviate the side-affects. Has your Doctor mentioned injections instead of pills?
