Reply to an Answer

In response to:
I have some joint problems but have not yet been diagnosed as having RA.  Blood tests ongoing with RF negative so far, although my ESR is raised.   However, a few weeks ago a lump developeed on the right side of my right foot (like a tailor's bunion) and seems to be getting worse, even with rest.  I can no longer walk in shoes as the skin has broken open and very painful.   Could this be a rheumatoid nodule at such am early stage?  I thought they were a much later progression of the disease, or am I wrong?
