I also have several nodules on the bottom and sides of my feet from RA. They are getting bigger and it is extremely painful to walk on hardwood floors, especially in the morning. My Reumatologist sent me to a Podriatrist. He said they could be removed but it would be painful and take a very long time to heal. He also said they would return. His advice was to get arch support thru Jackrabbit Shoes in Benicia, CA.  I am waiting for them to be delivered. You keep these in your shoes at all times to keep the weight away from the toes. My nodules are on my big toes, and right under my toes. They are also on the sides on my feet. Hope this info helps.
