is macrodantin safe for pregnant woman

i am going seven months pregnant and my doctor just find out that i have urinary tract infection and she advised me to take some macrodantin for one week three times a day. i am just worried if it will affect my unborn child. is macrodantin safe to intake?

I had frequent bladder and kidney infections when I was pregnant with my twins. I, too, was prescribed Macrodantin. It always worked well for me, and my OB/GYN was the one who prescribed it.
