knee replacement surgery

I need to have both of my knees replaced due to severe ra damage. My surgeon wants to replace both knees at the same time. Has anyone else experienced a bilateral knee replacement and what was the recovery and rehab like?

Unfortunately, I don't have experience with this - I got my hips replaced with a five-month interval between surgeries, but that's not terribly helpful to you. Try asking a question again in the SharePost - they tend to get more traffic than individual questions in this section..
