You could put in your zip code on this page of the Arthritis Foundation website and that will give you the nearest Arthritis Foundation office.  Then if you contact them, they may be able to help, via phone, websiste or newsletter, with resources that are in your area.  Through some of the events, you might meet up with some people you could meet or connect with regularly. I know, it's hard!  Some people are not able to get out or are disabled - others are so busy trying to keep themselves going, and getting to work, that it cuts out other possibilities. 

There are also other RA support groups online, I run across them now and then, usually a subgroup on a medical support site like this one - sometimes it's actually eaiser to connect that way (sad to say, face to face meetings are getting harder and harder, we're all too busy - I tried to work on starting a group up here, but it's not happening.  So I compensate through this site, and also just talking to anyone I run into about RA and medical related stuff, since I've always been interesting in medical topics anyway...)
