Definitely geezer. Lucky not to develop RA until after retirement....

You need to change docs if he/she does not put you on one of the other biologics, like Enbrel, Humera, or one of the other new ones..  And you may still suffer, but less so. Enbrel worked for me for 4 years, then my flares got worse, so getting switched to another...Keep trying, and get a Rheumatologist who willl listen to you and work to find something that works.

Treating RA is trial and error. Every patient is different. Have you told the doc that the Remicade is not working. If so, then the doc should do lab work to see what your levels are. If they are high then he should try another biologic. The main thing is, have the blood work before you have your Remicade treatment, if you have it after the treatment the levels will be more than likely be lower. Even though the treatment is not helping that much. I personally am on my third biologic. This one doesn't seem much better than Orencia or Remicade.
