The best ones would be the ones that are the most effective at the lowest dosage and with the least side effects.  What specifically that will be will be entirely different from person to person and will still vary from time to time.  RA can be extrememly frustrating, I think sometimes particularly so for people like me.  I like things logical, neat and tidy.  If something, anything, is wrong I want the path and series of steps to fix it.  I could never EVER be a Rheumatologist because there is no ONE path, ONE treatment OR ONE right pain med.  It's all very loosie goosie.  Thats just the nature of the beast.    Check with your Doc about the best meds for you, being as open and honest as you can about your symptoms, tolerances and even your personal values.  And be open to having this conversation again and again and again.....cuz this will be the ONLY way I can think of for you to find your own answer.
