Q: How long does an appointment with a new rheumatologist generally last?

I have an appointment with a new rheumatologist next week, and she has a good reputation. I have never seen a GOOD rheumatologist, and I was just wondering how long I should expect to be in her office.

Thank you, Suzzy!  My other two rheumy's spent five or ten minutes with me, every time I saw them, including the first appointment. I am so looking forward to this appointment.  I'm a little scared, though, too. Whatever it is, it is.  I just need some help feeling better. So, onward and upward. Wink

Blessings,

V

Hi V,

I've seen two Rheumatologists and both took an hour for the first visit; however, one took more time in looking at my body/symptoms and the other took more  in asking probing questions to assess.

Best Wishes for an excellent outcome!
