RA Inflammation pain in hands and fingers

Are there any new medications that will take away the constant pain and numbness feelings of inflammation in your hands that are the result of R.A. My hands dont appear to be inflamed or enlarged but certainly feel as though they have been injected with fluid and want to burst. Thanks, Lou
