the Mediterranean diet has been shown to have anti-inflammatory properties. I would also recommend that you keep a food diary for about 3-4 weeks and include how you feel every day, what kind of painkillers you take, etc. - this should enable you to start seeing patterns about which kinds of foods may trigger an increase in your symptoms. Some common triggers that I've heard of are tomatoes, potatoes, fried foods and sugar.
Do'nt beat yourself up too much. You've got to have some little treat to look forward to, whatever that maybe. Just ease off the fries and sugary stuff and you will feel better, plus you will ward off the possibility of contracting diabetes. Herbal teas are great, there's so much to chose, but do have the occasional coffee.

Uugghh! No wonder I feel bad! My weight is fine, no problem there...but my diet is horrible. What is worse is that I know better! I know I shouldn't eat Chick-fillet waffle fries and three Shipley's warm plain glazed donuts with coffee, but I do. As a matter of fact, my coffee is made and the timer is set to go off in the morning. I make my ownself feel bad!
