My rheumatoid factor used to be negative but now the lab results say positive. Luckily, the level is in the normal range. I have been told by others that everyone has Rheumatoid factor in their blood and it means nothing unless elevated and others have said that it is not normal to have it present but only becomes concerning if elevated.
I am HLA-B27 positive also with osteoarthritis and have had multiple bone surgeries to keep active/working. Bilateral joint pain and stiffness lasting 45 mins. to hour.
