My rhuemy is wanting to get me started on orencia. If you peek at my profile you can see the list of drugs im on right now. Does the orencia have any side effects that involve MS and or cancers. Both run very strong in my family history and my rheumy is aware of that.  The steroids we think are making my inner fore arms break out with little zits at almost every other hair folicle its also on my shoulder badly with single random others around. Thank god it isnt my face which is nice and fat and round now yay. The flat stomach I had has gone to a mini buddha gut. Nothing is really helping me get in front of this RA. The shots i get in my knees and shoulders arent a whole lot of fun either. Problem me and my dr are playing the hurry up and wait game to see what meds do what and if anything and then I cant really jump around on meds yet because we dont know if the surgeon wants to cut my back open yet. My rhumey made a good point and told me its totally ok to wait for surgery if needed to work on getting the RA under control. Unless ofcourse its a absolute needed thing I get sliced up now. So hurry up and wait. Anyway the real question is about Orencia what is it? Side effects? anyone experiences with it?
