Meloxicam is an anti-inflammatory and you can read more about it here. it provides symptomatic relief of inflammation and pain, but does not suppress your RA. In order to protect your joints from damage, you need to treat the disease, not just the symptoms. Speak to your doctor about alternatives to Paquinil, like methotrexate, Arava or one of the Biologics.

Sorry - moved too fast and didn't notice that you're on Enbrel, too. It's quite likely that the two in combination will be enough for you. I fnot, talk to your rheumatologist.
