No red meat, no dairy, coffee, salt, no oranges or tomatoes no potatoes, no white bread. I eat some of the above foods but olny in moderation, i find oranges and orange juice really bad. plenty of lean chicken and fish is good, along with most veg and fruit, also plenty of water, peppers and bananas are very good, i was told that i had a very high level of RA in my blood, i saw a consultant at the freeman hospital in newcastle, he told me i had to go on strong medication and i'd probably never be able to use my arm again properly, he was a expert in the field of research, i walked out, he wrote to me later asking me to go back but i never did, i followed a good diet, took plenty of exercise, drank beer, smoked cigaretes, had a good laugh and belived that my RA wouldn't get worse. now my arm is back to normal, my feet hurt a lot sometimes and i get very tired most days, but i follow the diet, have a hours sleep in the afternoon's and i have my own company, 2 kids, husband ect. stress is also very bad, feeling lucky and good about yourself is good
