It could be part of the RA, but it could also be fibromyalgia.  Are they joint pains, or muscle pains - or is it hard to tell?  Are you on treatment?  Hate to say it but sometimes even the meds can either not take away all the pain, but sometimes have side effects of a little different kind of pain...when my RA is under control I can still have fibro pain.  Read about fibro elsewhere on this site...
